I would like to invite you to participate in the Eight Annual Casa de Campo Spring Shootout from Wednesday, April 18th to Sunday, April 22nd, 2012. The Casa de Campo Spring Shootout has become the most popular spring event in the Caribbean. The tournament is a 54-hole stroke play tournament with net and gross divisions. The Shootout will be played on the Teeth of the Dog, the remodeled Links and the new Dye Fore.
The men’s field will be divided in ten flights and the ladies will do battle within six flights according to handicaps. The net and gross winners in each flight will compete in a shootout on Saturday afternoon. The shootout will be played on the Teeth of the Dog. A number of players will be eliminated on each hole until we end up with two men and two ladies. These four players will play number 9 on the Teeth of the Dog until we crown an overall man and lady champion. We will also have a drawing for six $500.00 gift certificate that can be used toward your package cost, or for either the Casa de Campo Open in September 2012 or the 2013 Spring Shootout. All participants will receive one ticket in the drawing but tickets will be awarded in accordance to how a player finishes in his or her flight. Daily low winners and qualifiers in the shootout will receive bonus tickets.
On this website you will find the schedule of events, package information and the entry form. The entries are limited so we suggest you send your entry as soon as possible. Apply online, fax your entry to 809-523-8800 or email at golf@ccampo.com.do . A $200.00us deposit per person will be required upon registering to secure your room at the hotel. On March 15th the balance of your entire package will be charged to your credit card. If you cancel after March 15th or do not show, your deposit will not be refunded and will be used as a cancellation penalty. The balance between the cancellation penalty and your package cost will be refunded. Phone entries will not be accepted and the deadline to register is March 15th , 2012. The tournament will be limited to the first 180 players to register, no exceptions will be made.
The 2012 packages include: accommodation in Golf Lodge or Elite Room, breakfast, lunch, dinner daily, unlimited drinks in all hotel bars and restaurants, plus the oasis bars and carts on the golf courses during the three tournament rounds and the Shootout. We will also make golf unlimited to the participants. If you would like to spend a few extra days with us before or after the tournament, we have special rates of $232.00us per person double occupancy or $311.00us single occupancy in deluxe rooms or $273.00 and $393.00 in Elite rooms. These rates include room for one night, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks at all hotel restaurants and bars, one transportation cart per room, complimentary green fee, tax and service charge.
You can fly to La Romana Airport on a daily flight from Miami which is 10 minute away from our front desk, Santo Domingo Airport and Punta Cana Airport. Santo Domingo is a 1 hour and 10 minutes transfer and Punta Cana 1 hour and 45 minutes. Transfer from all three airports is a complimentary service we will provide this year, which is a saving of over $100.00.

This event is a 54-hole stroke play championship with ten flights for the men, six flights for the ladies with gross and net divisions within the flights. Players will only play in flights they qualify for according to their handicap from the white tees for the men and red tees for the ladies on the Teeth of the Dog using the index from their home clubs. The deadline to submit your handicap is Sunday, April 10th. Prizes will be awarded in net and gross divisions, daily low and for the shootout. A drawing for 6 x $500.00us gift certificates, which can be used toward your package, or for the Casa de Campo Open in 2012 or the 2013 Spring Shootout, will be drawn at the final banquet.
